Admissions & counselling
Demos, enrolment, transfers, and how to get started.
Are NRI candidates eligible to take the CLAT exam?
Yes. NRI / NRI-sponsored candidates can apply for CLAT if they meet the Consortium’s academic eligibility (typically Class 12 or equivalent with the required percentage — often cited around 45% for some categories; check the current brochure). Seat categories and documentation differ by NLU.
How can I get a CLAT admit card?
Visit consortiumofnlus.ac.in, log in with your registered credentials, and download the admit card from the candidate dashboard once it is released. Print a clear copy and verify name, photo, exam city and reporting time. TCR can help with login/print support if you are stuck.
What documents do I need to upload while registering for the CLAT exam?
Typically:
- Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets / details as required - Identity proof (Aadhaar / PAN / driving licence, etc.) - Recent passport-size photograph - Signature - Category / PwD / BPL certificates if applicable
The live Consortium form lists mandatory uploads for that year — follow it exactly. TCR counselling can help you check uploads before final submit.
What should I do if my CLAT application form is not submitted successfully?
Return to the Consortium portal, confirm payment status, re-upload documents if needed, and submit again until you see a successful confirmation. Keep screenshots of payment. TCR’s counselling desk can walk you through common form failures during application season.
How can I check my registration status for the CLAT form?
Log in at consortiumofnlus.ac.in with your registered credentials. A successful registration usually shows confirmation on the dashboard and a confirmation email/SMS. If status is incomplete, finish pending payment or document steps.
How do I access the CLAT admit card if I have forgotten the password?
Visit consortiumofnlus.ac.in, open candidate login, use Forgot Password, and reset via the registered mobile/email OTP flow. Once logged in, download the admit card from the dashboard. TCR mentors can guide you through the reset steps if you are stuck.
What to do if I receive a blank application form after submitting the CLAT form?
A blank or empty confirmation usually means submission did not complete. Log in again, check payment and document status, and resubmit until you receive a proper application PDF/confirmation. Contact Consortium support if payment was deducted without a successful application ID.
In which National Law University shall I benefit under the sports quota?
Sports / supernumerary seat policies differ by NLU and year. Gujarat National Law University (GNLU) has historically offered a small number of sports supernumerary seats (often split by gender, e.g. 2+2). Confirm the current year’s brochure for exact seats and eligibility.
When is an open campus visit at National Law Universities?
Many NLUs host open campus / outreach visits in the months before CLAT; dates vary by university and year (for example, some 2024 visits ran from late September into early November). Watch individual NLU websites and Consortium announcements for the current cycle.
