Online CLAT Coaching
There are two completely different products sold as online CLAT coaching, and the price gap between them tells you which is which. One is a recorded lecture library with a discussion forum. The other is a live class on a fixed timetable where a mentor knows your name and reads your mock papers.
TCR runs the second kind. The online cohort is taught by the same NLU alumni who teach in our Delhi classrooms, on the same schedule, with the same capped group size.
- NLU alumni faculty
- Capped batch sizes
- Weekly 1:1 mock analysis
Recorded content is not coaching
A library of lectures is a useful reference and a poor teacher. Nothing in it notices that you keep misreading assumption questions, or that your accuracy collapses in the last twenty minutes of a mock, or that you have quietly stopped attempting the quantitative section.
Those observations are the actual product of coaching, and they require a person who has read your paper. That is why our online cohort is built around a weekly one-to-one mock review rather than around a content catalogue, and why we cap the cohort instead of selling unlimited seats.
Who should choose online over a classroom
Take the online cohort if you are outside Delhi, if your one-way commute to a classroom would run near an hour, or if your school and travel schedule makes a fixed evening slot in a specific building unrealistic. Recovering two hours a day and spending them on reading beats almost any classroom.
Choose the classroom if you know that without a room and a fixed time you will not do the work. That is a real and common answer, and it is the one case where a long commute is worth it. Be honest with yourself during counselling — we would rather place you correctly than fill a seat.
What you should demand from any online CLAT programme
Ask whether classes are live or recorded, and if live, how many students are in the session. Ask the name and law school of the person teaching, not the name of the brand. Ask how often you speak one-to-one with a mentor about your own paper, and whether that is included or sold as an add-on.
Ask what happens when you miss a class, and whether you can move into a classroom batch later without paying again. At TCR sessions are recorded as backup for enrolled students, and moving between online and classroom mid-programme costs nothing.

Questions people actually ask
Is online CLAT coaching as effective as classroom?
For a student who can hold a schedule without a room enforcing it, yes. What matters is whether the classes are live, whether the cohort is capped, and whether a mentor personally reviews your mock papers every week. A recorded lecture library, however large, is a reference rather than coaching.
Is TCR's online CLAT coaching live or recorded?
Live, on a fixed timetable, taught by the same NLU alumni faculty who teach our Delhi classrooms. Sessions are recorded as backup for enrolled students who miss a class, but the recording is not the product — the live class and the weekly one-to-one mock review are.
Can I join online CLAT coaching from outside Delhi?
Yes. The online cohort is open across India and follows the same syllabus, mock calendar and mentoring rhythm as the Delhi batches. Students outside the NCR are the largest group in it.
Can I switch from online to classroom later?
Yes, at no extra cost, subject to a seat being free in the classroom batch you want. Some students start online in Class 11 and move into a Delhi classroom for the final year.
Is online CLAT coaching cheaper?
Ours is priced close to the classroom programmes because the teaching input is the same — same faculty, same live hours, same one-to-one mock reviews. A large discount elsewhere usually means recorded content or a much larger cohort, so check which you are being offered.

Talk to a mentor before you decide
A counselling call is a conversation with someone who teaches the batch, not a sales script. Ask about faculty, batch size, and how mock analysis actually runs.
