How to Choose CLAT Coaching in Delhi

Not who founded the institute, not who appears in the advertising, and not the aggregate credentials of the faculty pool. The name of the person who will stand in front of your batch, and where they studied law.

This question is uncomfortable for large multi-vertical institutes because the honest answer is often that it depends on scheduling. If nobody will commit to a name before you pay, assume the answer is whoever is free that term.

Batch size determines whether individual feedback is physically possible. A mentor cannot conduct a meaningful one-to-one mock review with a hundred and twenty students a week, no matter how committed they are, and no amount of technology changes that arithmetic.

Ask for the actual cap and then ask what happens when demand exceeds it. Institutes that genuinely cap batches open a new batch; institutes that do not simply add chairs.

A trustworthy results page carries student names, the exam, the year, and the college each student joined. That combination is checkable. Percentages and selection counts are not — a claim like a ninety per cent success rate is unverifiable by construction, because you cannot see the denominator.

Also check whether the same handful of names reappear across several years, and whether toppers are shown as full-time classroom students or as test-series subscribers. Both are common ways an honest-looking results page overstates what the institute contributed.

Mock scores are almost worthless on their own. What changes a rank is somebody identifying the four or five reasoning errors you keep repeating and giving you a rule that prevents them. That requires a human who has read your specific paper.

So ask: after each mock, who looks at my answers, how long do we spend, and is that included in the fee. If the answer is an automated analytics dashboard, you are buying a report, not mentorship.

No institute can guarantee a rank or an NLU seat, and one that does is telling you something about its honesty rather than its teaching. Treat a guarantee as a reason to look harder, not a reason to relax.

Then read the refund policy before your first instalment rather than after. An institute confident in its teaching publishes clear terms; one that keeps them vague until you have paid is managing a different risk.
