What is CUET UG?
Common University Entrance Test (UG)
CUET UG is India's largest undergraduate entrance, run by the NTA. It is the route into DU, BHU, JMI, AMU and 100+ central and participating universities — across BA, B.Com, BA LL.B and many other programmes. Students combine a Language paper, optional domain subjects, and often the General Test. TCR builds each combination deliberately: subject depth where the domain paper decides ranks, and attempt strategy for the +5/−1 marking that punishes reckless guessing.
Eligibility
- 10+2 with the target university's minimum percentage (usually 45–50%)
- Class 12 appearing candidates are eligible
- Age and subject combinations vary by university and programme — check each prospectus

CUET questions students ask
Is TCR's CUET programme only for law?
No. Legal Studies is one domain we teach. We also coach Language, General Test, and other humanities / social-science domains students need for central-university programmes.
Which subjects can I take at TCR?
Core offerings include English Language, General Test, Legal Studies, Political Science, History, Economics, and Sociology — with combinations counselled to your target universities. Ask WhatsApp for the current subject roster.
How is CUET different from CLAT?
Different exam body, marking (+5/−1), structure (Language + Domains ± GT), and university map. CLAT is NLU-focused; CUET opens the central university system across many degrees.
Can I prepare for CLAT and CUET together?
Yes for students whose CUET domains overlap with reading-heavy prep. Timetables keep the two marking schemes separate so habits do not bleed.
When is CUET UG 2027?
NTA typically runs CUET UG in May–June. Exact windows and slot booking publish on the Samarth portal closer to the cycle.
