The 45-Minute Mock Analysis Protocol: Where AIR Is Actually Made
The three categories of every mistake
Every wrong answer in a mock is one of three things:
- Silly — you knew the concept, misread or mis-clicked.
- Concept-gap — you didn't know the underlying rule.
- Time-pressure — you'd have got it right with 15 more seconds.
| Category | Fix | Timeline |
|---|---|---|
| Silly | Ignore individually. Track the count across 5 mocks. Rising count = fatigue → take a day off. | Trend, not incident |
| Concept-gap | Rewrite the underlying rule in your own words. Add to a permanent error log. | Same day |
| Time-pressure | Flag the section. If ≥3 in same section across 3 mocks, redesign your pacing. | Rolling 3 mocks |
