Refund Policy

TCR – The Court Room (“TCR”, “we,” “our,” or “us”) values transparency and fairness in all our dealings. This Refund Policy sets out the terms and conditions under which refunds for fees paid towards our courses and services may be granted. By enrolling in any of our programmes, you agree to abide by the following terms:

Eligibility for Refund

If a student chooses to withdraw from a course before its completion for any reason, the fee refund shall be processed after deducting applicable charges as outlined below. Requests for refunds will only be considered if submitted within the stipulated timeframe and in accordance with this policy.

Refund Timelines and Deductions

  • If the student withdraws before the commencement of the course or within 7 days of commencement, the refund shall be made after deducting Rs. 5,000/- plus applicable GST, payment gateway charges, and courier charges.
  • If the student withdraws within 15 days of commencement, the refund shall be made after deducting Rs. 10,000/- plus applicable GST, payment gateway charges, and courier charges.
  • No refund shall be granted after 15 days (i.e., two weeks) of the course commencement under any circumstances.

Conditions for Submitting Refund Request

The student/parent must submit the refund application in person, along with the original payment receipts and return of all study material, including test papers and mock test booklets. Refund applications submitted by any third party (including relatives, friends, or agents) on behalf of the student will not be entertained.

Mode of Refund and Processing Time

Refunds shall be issued only through Account Payee Cheque, made in favour of the student’s father or mother as per the admission records. Processing of a refund request may take up to 15 working days from the date of receipt of the complete application and required documents.

Non-Refundable Items

No refund will be granted for study material packages or test series packages once issued.

Disciplinary Actions and Termination

If a student is found indulging in indiscipline, misconduct, or creating disturbances in class, TCR reserves the right to terminate their enrolment without prior notice. No refund shall be made in such cases.

If any parent or guardian misbehaves with TCR staff, the student may be rusticated immediately and no refund will be entertained. The decision of the Director shall be final and binding.

Programme Modifications

TCR reserves the right to modify, alter, or cancel any course schedule, venue, or timing without prior notice. Such changes do not entitle the student to claim any refund or compensation. The decision of the Director shall be final in this regard.

Arbitration and Jurisdiction

In case of any disputes or differences regarding refunds or interpretation of these terms, the matter shall be referred to a Sole Arbitrator appointed by the Director of TCR. The arbitration proceedings shall be conducted in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, and the seat of arbitration shall be Delhi, India. Only the courts at Delhi shall have jurisdiction over such matters.
